Professional Experience

While attending high school, Mr. Lees was an associate at a Publix Supermarket (Southgate Shopping Center, New Port Richey, FL) from approximately 1998 to 2000. During that time, Mr. Lees was responsible for performing various customer service activities. While attending college, Mr. Lees was employed with a new/used car sales dealership (Castriota Chevrolet, Hudson, FL) from approximately 2000 to 2005. During that time, Mr. Lees was responsible for numerous job tasks, such as the following:
  • Managing new/used car inventory
  • Vehicle inspection activities
  • New/used car sales experience
  • Temporarily operated the accounts payable department
  • Established and managed an in-house vehicle detail department

Mr. Lees has been employed at Lees Environmental Services, Inc. since March of 2005 and primary duties include:

  • Comprehensive Phase I & Phase II ESAs including project proposals, site reconnaissance, historical research/file reviews, field evaluations, sampling procedures, and report preparation activities
  • Project management
  • Design and implementation in remediation and contamination mitigation activities
  • Supervision of field crews during site reconnaissance and geotechnical studies
  • Collaboration with various governmental/regulatory agencies, financial institutions, and developers
  • Review and evaluate analytical field data for preparation of various assessment documents

Continuing Education

  • Hazardous Waste Operation and Emergency Response Course-40 hour site safety course
  • OSHA General Site Worker 8-hour refresher course (annually)
  • Standard Practice for Phase I & II ESA Process and CFEA Training Course
  • All Appropriate Inquiry for CFEAs (Florida Environmental Assessors Association)
